We aren’t a kennel as such because our dogs live as part of the family, indoors with us and our cats who all have lots of fun whether they are sprawled out on the sofa together or walking in the Northamptonshire countryside where we live. Our dogs are adored as pets first and foremost above everything else – all their achievements are bonuses!
We’re relatively new to Labradors but both my partner and I grew up with dogs and I have never known life without a multitude of dogs in the home. Our love of Labradors is well and truly here to stay. We only breed when we want to keep a puppy to work and show - most puppies will go into pet homes but enquiries are considered from competition homes too, subject to certain conditions.
We show Ria at all levels and hope to pick up on our local shoot in the Winter with both girls. We make full use of the BVA/KC hip and elbow scoring scheme, eye testing and furthermore Ria is Optigen clear for PRA by parentage and is also tested clear for CNM. Temperament, type and working ability are all equally as important as health so this is what we're aiming for.
